Platinum Card benefit enrollment shortcut links

by on Wed July 24, 2013 • No Comment

Some of the best benefits of The Platinum Card® from American Express don’t come automatically. You have to manually enroll and request them – which is a hassle when you’re paying a big annual fee just to hold the card.

So we consolidated directions for enrollment in the most valuable benefits (full guide to benefits here) in one place. Here they are…

  • National Car Rental Executive status. Follow the link, and either enroll as a new Emerald Club member, or upgrade an existing account.
  • $200 Airline Fee credit. Follow this link and choose the airline you want enrolled – note you can only select this once per year. Once you select it you can’t change it until next year.
  • Priority Pass Select Airport Lounge Access. Just follow the link and the card will be mailed to you after logging in.
  • Starwood Preferred Guest® Gold status. Call the customer service number on the back of your Platinum Card and ask the representative to contact Starwood on your behalf and request the status.
  • Global Entry. Simply pay for your enrollment fee with your Platinum Card – it will be automatically reimbursed. No extra registration required.

The Platinum Card® is the most versatile way to gain airport lounge access – with everything but United covered among U.S. airlines.
