If you’re looking for award seats to Brazil, now is a good time to lock in a trip with your American AAdvantage miles.

American has more flights than any other carrier from the U.S. to South America, but snagging an award seat in business class is hard if you’re not flexible.

But for travel next Spring, which is a great season to visit Brazil, there’s lots of space available.

New York to Rio is the route with the most space, but flights out of Miami are also good options.

Here’s space in late February and March from New York to Rio nonstop for at least 2 passengers per flight…

And here’s space in April…

Flights back to the U.S. also have lots of space. Here’s late February and March…

And April…

American uses 777s on its Brazil flights that all have lie flat seats in Business Class, and with cash tickets running over $4,000 roundtrip, using 115,000 miles is a great award.
