The 14 U.S. lounges that restrict Priority Pass access

by on Fri May 12, 2017 • 2 Comments

With more and more people holding Priority Pass cards that have guest lounge access thanks to the Chase Sapphire Reserve and Platinum Card from American Express, Priority Pass lounges in the U.S. are getting crowded, and sometimes overflowing.

To counter this, a growing list of Priority Pass lounges now restrict the hours members can visit, or whether guests are allowed at all.

Most recently, Alaska Airlines lounges no longer allow Priority Pass members to bring guests, except at its Anchorage lounge, which is disappointing if you live on the West Coast and banked on being able to use the guest privileges at your home airport.

Here’s the current list of lounges that limit Priority Pass access in the U.S., though any lounge can decide to limit access at any time. So don’t be surprised if you pop into a lounge and get told you can’t enter because it’s too full, especially if it’s a lounge run by a single airline.
