Getting the Saver award price using AAdvantage miles to get to Europe in Business Class for 57,500 miles one way is hard.

Getting it from the West Coast on AA’s LAX – LHR nonstop is simply rare.

But lately AA has had lots of space on the nonstop for travel in February and March of 2018, for a late winter, early spring trip to Europe.

Here’s space for two from LAX to London…

And space on the way back, from London to LAX is also widely available…

These are dates on American Airlines flights, not the British Airways flights that can slap you with over $1,000 in surcharges on a roundtrip.

American flies its flagship 777-300 on the LAX to London route, with 1-2-1 direct aisle access lie flat seating throughout Business Class, making it one of the most comfortable ways to get to Europe, and one of the best value uses of your AA miles.

AAdvantage business class

A cash ticket in Business Class on this route currently costs $4,016 roundtrip, so you’re getting almost 4 cents per mile in value when you use 115,000 AA miles to book a roundtrip.
