To the frustration of many Chase Ultimate Rewards cardholders, Korean SKYPASS has been unavailable as an airline transfer partner for several weeks, with no clear communication from either Chase or Korean as to when the feature will be restored.

Now we have a clearer picture.

The Korean Skypass website now notes that transfers are planned to return in January.

That’s good news, and fits with reports that there was a technical issue that needed to be resolved before transfers could resume.

Korean Skypass is great for getting to Asia in Business and First Class, but it’s also great for getting to Hawaii on Delta for just 25,000 miles roundtrip in Economy.
